Our Aging With Confidence educational programs are usually one time workshops/presentations that help seniors to navigate the challenges that come with aging. Topics of discussion might include: financial planning, end-of-life planning, health and wellness, caregiving, home modifications and aging in place, travel, technology, and more.

Join us at this two-part watercolor workshop led by VPAS' very own Chris Bowring. Beginners will be taught the basics and how-to’s of water coloring and then will be directed in creating their own art. Anyone with experience in watercolor can join to learn new tips and socialize.

Swedish Death Cleaning is a method of decluttering that focuses on promoting mindfulness, self-lessness simplicity as a way to help make the process of either downsizing or decluttering easier. It also a method that promotes communication about what you are getting rid of and taking care of things that you can so that the burden is not left to loved ones.

Community Paramedicine is a concept of pre-hospital care designed to use paramedics to help bridge the gap between access to primary care services and the needs of the community; the extension of acute and primary care providers, and mental health resources are made available by specially trained paramedics.
If you are interested in what the Community Paramedics can do, and learning about what or what does not constitute a 911 call or Emergency Room visit, this workshop is for you!
