Fiscal Operations Manager

VPAS is seeking a highly detailed and organized professional to serve as Fiscal Operations Manager

DAYS/HOURS: Monday to Friday, 8:30am to 4:30pm  

WORKSITE: 325 Pine Avenue, Waynesboro

POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES: The Fiscal Operations Manager supports VPAS’ financial and administrative functions, ensuring accurate execution of core accounting processes and compliance with all regulatory requirements. Serving as the Fiscal Director’s primary deputy, this position manages payroll, benefits administration, and grant-related fiscal activities while fostering strong coordination across fiscal and administrative functions. The Fiscal Operations Manager contributes to agency-wide financial planning, ensures timely and accurate reporting, and safeguards the integrity of VPAS’ financial operations.

QUALIFICATIONS: A bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or a related field preferred; a minimum of three years of experience in nonprofit or governmental financial management; strong knowledge of GAAP, fund accounting, budgeting, and grant compliance; proficiency in payroll processing and financial reporting; and demonstrated ability to support audits and day-to-day fiscal operations.
